New Ending Theme Born for the TV Anime Doraemon!
The new ending starts from Saturday, October 4, 2025!
The TV Anime Doraemon airs every Saturday from 5:00 PM!

The first new ending theme since the 2005 renewal will begin broadcasting on Saturday, October 4!
The anime Doraemon has been loved across generations for over 45 years since the TV series began broadcasting in 1979. The decision has been made for a new ending, the first since the 2005 renewal! It is set to start broadcasting on Saturday, October 4!
The song for the new ending is Moshimonogatari (If Story), a brand-new track written by the up-and-coming singer-songwriter Tani Yuuki!
The commemorative new ending theme—the first in 20 years since the renewal—is the new song Moshimonogatari (If Story), penned by the dynamic singer-songwriter Tani Yuuki, who broke out via social media and dominated music distribution charts. The lyrics, written with the hope that the song "will gently encourage not only the dreams of children but also the backs of adults," are set to a light and brisk melody with a pop, bouncy feel.

Moshimonogatari debuted live at a concert held on Thursday, September 25! Doraemon and Nobita also appeared on stage!
The new ending theme for the TV anime Doraemon, Moshimonogatari, was revealed as a surprise performance on stage during the first show of Tani Yuuki's Live Tour 2025 “Still love...this”, which opened at the Chigasaki Citizen's Culture Hall on September 25. Doraemon and Nobita rushed to the venue to celebrate. When it was announced on stage that he would be providing the ending theme for Doraemon, loud cheers erupted from the audience! Tani Yuuki expressed his emotion, saying, "Doraemon and the others came to my concert...!" Finally, he powerfully addressed the audience, saying, "Please give us lots of support! Thank you very much!" making it a concert where Tani Yuuki's strong enthusiasm shone through.

"Doraemon is walking to my song...!" "A joy that wells up from the bottom of my heart!"
When Tani Yuuki watched the freshly completed ending animation, he was deeply moved by the sight of Doraemon moving along with the music. He applauded instinctively, exclaiming, "Doraemon and the others are walking to my song! This is so good...!" He praised it, saying, "It is truly a joy to have Doraemon and the others grooving to a song I created." We wonder what the final animation looks like!?
Comment from Tani Yuuki
――Please share your thoughts on the new ending animation that plays alongside Moshimonogatari.
When I first saw it, I was so happy that Doraemon was walking along to my music, and I thought, "This is so good...!" It is truly a joy to have Doraemon and the others grooving to a song I created. They included wonderful choreography, expressions resembling manga panels, and many different scenes, creating a magnificent ending. I am grateful.
――How did you feel when you received the offer for the ending theme?
I was extremely happy to be able to enter the world of Doraemon, which I have been watching since I was a child. Moshimonogatari is a song that I poured all of my inner Doraemon into. I wanted to express the worldview of Doraemon that I’ve carried since childhood, in my own way, and that's how I created it. I was able to complete it quickly without much struggle, but when it was finished, I felt a joy that welled up from the bottom of my heart.
――What intention did you put into creating the song?
In daily life, I believe there are times when we hit a wall or stumble. I created this song hoping to convey the message that, within those struggles, the world can expand or appear brighter depending on one's attitude and perspective. This is a song that contains my wish that everyone holds onto dreams, whether big or small.
――Which phrase in the song is your favorite?
There is a phrase at the beginning: "Kitto dare demo ichido (Wa) / Imamade ni sukoshi (Cry)" [Surely everyone once (Wa) / Has slightly (Cry) up until now]. Besides the main vocals, there are backing calls included there, so everyone can sing and enjoy it. I would be happy if you sang along.
――If you could have a secret gadget, which one would it be?
I really love the "If-Box" (Moshimo Box), and I'd like to try fulfilling the wish of "I wish the world were like this" just once. Also, tools that can manipulate time, like the "Time Machine" or the "Time Kerchief" (Time Furoshiki), are great because they have a sense of romance. I also like the "Denkoumaru Sword," the "Air Gun," and the "Toppling Agent" (Korobashi-ya). Knowing these tools would appear in a pinch provides a sense of security. As an artist, the "Voice Solidifier" (Koe Katamarin) would be nice, too. Wouldn't it be interesting if my singing voice took shape and came out during a concert (laughs)?
――Please share your favorite episode from Doraemon.
The story called An Old Masterpiece Once More... Grandma's Memories (broadcast in 2006) left a very strong impression on me. I was very close to my grandmother. I remember that when I watched this story as a child, it was right after I had said something awful to my grandmother, so I swore that I would apologize immediately and never say such a thing again. When I watched that episode again as an adult... I still cried.
――Do you have a message for the viewers?
Moshimonogatari, the ending theme I am in charge of for the TV anime Doraemon, will air starting in October. I hope this song gently encourages not only the dreams of children but also the backs of adults. I made it wholeheartedly, so please give it a listen.
