Doraemon and his friends have arrived in Wuhan, the "City of a Hundred Lakes," on the banks of the Yangtze River.
The popular worldwide event, the "100%Doraemon & Friends Exhibition," kicked off in Wuhan, China, starting November 9, 2025! Wuhan is a vibrant metropolis, the central city of China's central region, with a resident population exceeding 13 million. Known as the "City of a Hundred Lakes," it is where the Yangtze River and Han River converge, resulting in numerous scattered lakes. Wuhan’s history dates back approximately 1,800 years to the Three Kingdoms period. It developed as a vital hub for transportation and exchange where people converged, witnessing countless cultural transmissions and encounters. In this city, brimming with ancient history and the energy of a modern metropolis, Doraemon and his friends will deliver an exhibition focused on the theme of "Friendship," filled with kindness and creativity. The venue features many exciting exhibits, including giant balloons, life-sized Doraemon figures, a recreation of Mr. Fujiko・F・Fujio's studio, replicated original drawings, and event-exclusive original animation.
Furthermore, a unique Wuhan Doraemon figure, inspired by the crane legend of Yellow Crane Tower (Kōkakurō), one of China's three great towers, will make a special appearance. "Anywhere Door" photo spots have been installed throughout the city, inviting all visitors into the world of Doraemon. Additionally, Christmas tree decorations and illuminations are planned for the winter season, ensuring a heartwarming experience.
