■"It's New Year's Eve! Doraemon" is a new story inspired by next year's zodiac sign, the Horse... featuring the "Uma Take" going on a rampage!
Starting December 31st (Wednesday) at 9:00 AM, the "It's New Year's Eve! Doraemon 1-Hour Special" will present an original new story titled "Space Western Uma Take in the Wilderness," inspired by the 2026 zodiac sign, the Horse, and featuring a future creature called "Uma Take" as the main character.
Uma Take is a new creature created by 22nd-century science, combining a horse and bamboo. In "Space Western Uma Take in the Wilderness," Doraemon and Nobita use the "Purpose-Specific Planetary Exploration Shuttle" to go to a certain planet to have wild fun with a rowdy Uma Take. However, they discover that the "UMA (Uma) Star" not only has kind residents living there, but they are also being targeted by the cosmic wanderers, the "Snake Family"! Nobita and the others get caught up in the conflict with the Snake Family, who plan to take over the UMA star...!?

■A little different from variety shows?! Ryoishi Ishihara passionately plays the villain who stands before Nobita and the others!!
In "Space Western Uma Take in the Wilderness," Ryoishi Ishihara plays Morgan, a member of the "Snake Family" who wreaks havoc on the UMA star that Nobita and the others arrive at. For Ishihara, who hadn't done anime dubbing in about 19 years, on the day of recording, he listened to the director explain details about the UMA star and the Snake Family to build his image as he went to the recording booth.
When the dubbing session began, he struggled a bit, saying, "What should I do...?" and repeated various patterns, saying, "I won't know until I try it a few times!"
At first, he seemed perplexed by the unique style of anime acting, but while interacting with the director, asking things like "Where is this place?" and "What kind of line is this?" and constantly checking the subtle nuances of his lines, he approached his acting with a serious mode different from his variety show expressions.
Subaru Kimura & Tomokazu Seki also play "outlaws" different from their usual roles!?
Subaru Kimura, the voice actor for Big G, plays the role of Snake, the leader of the outlaw gang, while Tomokazu Seki, the voice actor for Suneo, plays Tiger, the hired rogue with a keen eye for quality. Together with Morgan played by Ryoishi Ishihara, they stand before Nobita and the others in roles different from their usual Big G and Suneo characters.
Can Nobita and the others really protect the peace of the UMA star!?

Comments from Ryoishi Ishihara (as Morgan)
――Please tell us your thoughts on receiving this offer. There's also "Chaotic New Year's Eve" on New Year's Eve, and "Doraemon" is also joining in to make the end of the year exciting... I'm very happy to be a part of it.
――Please tell us about your experience with the dubbing> It was fun! I haven't done much voice acting, but I feel like I got a glimpse into the "Doraemon world." But I also thought, maybe I could have had a few more lines. Please give me a better role next time (laughs).
――Do you have any memories related to "Doraemon"? I'm currently 63 years old. I read the series when it started serialization in school magazines during my childhood, so to speak, our generation knows the beginnings of "Doraemon." Even back then, I felt "Doraemon" was a somewhat mysterious work. I'm very honored to receive this offer!
――If you could choose one Gadgets, what would you want? I haven't traveled abroad recently recently. Traveling abroad is tough with the jet lag... So it would be the "Anywhere Door"! As you get older, you stop dreaming about the Gadgets you want (laughs).
(Actors often say they want the "Memory Bread" to help them memorize lines...) But in my case, I mostly just talk to myself lately... So memorization is not a problem for me (laughs).
――Please give a message to the viewers! The year is finally coming to an end. Let's enjoy the last day of 2025, New Year's Eve, together!

"Space Western Uma Take in the Wilderness"

Nobita and Doraemon invite Shizuka and set off for a planet where they can play with Uma Take! What they arrive at is the mysterious planet "UMA (Uma) Star," spread with a vast wilderness.
On the UMA Star, the three meet kind-hearted residents and learn that they are being threatened by the cosmic wanderers, the "Snake Family," who plot to take over the UMA star.
