The rulers of this planet were cows?!

The short-form SF manga "The Minotaur's Plate" by Fujiko・F・Fujio Sensei, published in 1969, is being adapted to the stage for the first time in the world. A world where the positions of "the eaters" and "the eaten" are reversed. This work sharply depicts the human dilemma of being unable to escape one's own common sense, even when language is understood but values are completely different. Its sharp satire and shocking ending still deeply resonate with readers and make them think, even after half a century.

This immortal masterpiece will be adapted, choreographed, and directed by the up-and-coming artist Taku Suzuki, who won the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Newcomer Award in the Dance Category for the 2023 fiscal year (75th). With his unique expression, Suzuki will revive the universal questions of the original work in the modern era, delivering a stage performance that can be enjoyed by all generations, from children aged 4 and above to adults.
