Today, Mayor Fukuda of Kawasaki City announced the 10th-anniversary projects for the Fujiko・F・Fujio Museum.
The lineup is packed with exciting content, so we’ll introduce them step-by-step on our blog.
Today’s news is about the fossil named after Nobita from Doraemon — previously featured on our blog.
The exhibition date is finally set!
Starting Saturday, August 14, a replica of the newly discovered carnivorous dinosaur footprint fossil
"Eubrontes Nobitai" will be on display at our museum.

"Eubrontes Nobitai" refers to the footprint fossil discovered in China in 2020.
It is believed to belong to a carnivorous dinosaur measuring about 4 meters in length.

Associate Professor Shin, a member of the research team and a fan of Doraemon,
was inspired by a scene in Doraemon the Movie Nobita's New Dinosaur
where Nobita names a newly discovered dinosaur species after himself — leading to this naming.
The footprint fossil will be exhibited in Gallery I.
Gallery I is currently hosting the special exhibition "Fujiko・F・Fujio and Doraemon."
The fossil display will join as a new addition to the latest history of Doraemon.
