In the exhibition room, we are also introducing works by Fujiko・F・Fujio other than manga.
Currently on display are illustrations for foreign science fiction novels.
The author handled the cover art and illustrations for the Professor Jameson Series (Hayakawa Bunko SF, 1972–1977).

To introduce the story briefly... Professor Jameson is the last human on Earth in the story. It is a tale of him becoming an immortal machine-man through the science of the alien Zol people, and setting off on a journey of space exploration.

Although the original drawings for these works no longer exist, these illustrations, full of SF atmosphere and drawn in a style different from the author’s usual manga, are a must-see for fans.
These are being introduced in Exhibition Room II as part of the "Fujiko・F・Fujio Museum 10th Anniversary Original Artwork Exhibition".
