On December 1st last year, Fujiko・F・Fujio marked the 90th anniversary of his birth.
To commemorate this milestone, Exhibition Room II on the 2nd floor is currently hosting:
Fujiko F Fujio 90th Birth Anniversary Original Exhibition: The Manga World of Fujiko・F・Fujio Born from “Love”
To mark the 90th anniversary of F Sensei’s birth, a congratulatory message arrived from a certain director.
That director is Steven Spielberg.
The letter (a replica) containing his message is currently on display during the ongoing second phase of the exhibition.
F Sensei, who loved movies, also paid close attention to Director Spielberg, enthusiastically watching films such as "Jaws" and "E.T."
When the original novel for Jurassic Park was released in Japan, he contributed a comment for the book jacket, telling his family, “Spielberg is going to make this into a movie next!” and excitedly looking forward to it.
